Mohammed Saeed grew up, lives and works in the local area.

A well-known local campaigner, Saeed founded Community First (Peterborough), a local charity ran by residents for residents in 2018, adopting and maintaining 21 planters to improve the local environment and organising a range of local events from litter picking to youth activities. Saeed’s achievements were recognised by the Queen when he was awarded the British Empire Medal in 2021.
