Position: Vice Chair
Kevin Taylor worked originally in the engineering sector before entering the further and higher education sectors. In the past, Kevin has worked for several large further and higher education colleges in Yorkshire, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. For the past ten years, he has operated his own training business, delivering customised training to adults employed with large national employers. Kevin’s educational background is in engineering and leadership and management. He is also a Governor of City College Peterborough.
Kevin lives outside Peterborough with his partner and he has two grown-up children. Kevin’s hobbies include walking and trying to play the guitar, with mixed results!
What your role is as part of the board of trustees
Kevin’s role as a trustee of Gladstone Connect is that of a vice chair and chair of the Operational Management Group
Why you joined the board of trustees
Kevin joined the board of trustees in 2003 when he was at his last college in Peterborough. One of the reasons for joining was that he felt he could support the community by using his knowledge and experience in the skills and education sector to benefit individuals as well as to help address the health needs in this area of Peterborough.
What do you hope to achieve as part of the team?
As part of the team of trustees at Gladstone Connect Kevin hopes we can build a vibrant and healthy community for everyone.
